- JoondalupJoondalup is the main centre of Perth's northern suburbs, with Lakeside Joondalup, the hospital and the university campus, and a mix of family homes, townhouses and apartments around them.
- Banksia GroveBanksia Grove is a family suburb in the City of Wanneroo, east of Joondalup, made up mostly of newer brick homes on suburban blocks.
- YanchepYanchep is at the northern end of the area John covers, home to Yanchep National Park, Yanchep Lagoon and its own train station.
- ClarksonClarkson is one of the busier northern suburbs, home to Ocean Keys Shopping Centre and Clarkson train station, with a mix of established homes and newer builds.
- AlkimosAlkimos is a coastal suburb between Butler and Eglinton, built around new estates like Alkimos Beach and Shorehaven, and now its own train station.
